Work With Us at SAY Women

At SAY Women, our work is about more than providing services — it’s about standing alongside young women and helping them build safer, stronger futures following their experiences of sexual violence. Every member of our team plays a role in creating a space where young women affected by homelessness, trauma and inequality can find support, stability and sisterhood.

Careers with Purpose

Working at SAY Women means being part of a team that believes in feminist values, collective care, and real social change. Our staff support young women to rebuild confidence, develop independence and imagine new possibilities for their lives.

In return, we aim to create a workplace where your wellbeing, growth and voice matter too.

Whether you work directly with young women or support our organisation behind the scenes, you’ll be contributing to a service that helps young women move from crisis to connection, from survival to strength.

Why Work at SAY Women?

A feminist workplace
We are proud to be a feminist organisation that centres the voices and experiences of young women. Our culture values collaboration, respect, learning and empowerment.

Work that matters
Every role at SAY Women contributes to meaningful change — supporting young women to feel safe, heard and hopeful about their future.

A supportive team culture
We believe work should be purposeful but also enjoyable. Expect a workplace that celebrates achievements, encourages creativity and makes space for humour and connection along the way.

Our Benefits

We want our team to feel supported both inside and outside work. Our benefits include:

We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements wherever possible to support work–life balance.

Support for caregiving responsibilities
We recognise that many staff have caring roles. We aim to provide flexibility and understanding to help staff balance work with family and caring commitments.

Wellbeing support
Supporting others can be emotionally demanding, so we prioritise staff wellbeing through:

  • Access to external clinical supervision

  • Counselling support for staff when needed

  • A staff wellbeing fund to support personal wellbeing activities

Professional development
We invest in our staff and support learning through:

  • An annual training fund

  • Opportunities for professional development

  • Time and support to build skills and knowledge

A workplace that cares
We actively encourage rest, reflection and connection within the team. From shared lunches to team celebrations, we believe a little fun goes a long way in building a supportive workplace.
